In my generation, we grew up without car seats and product recalls. If we got out of line, all we needed was the “look” because we knew how to behave in public. If we didn’t, we got a lesson as soon as we got home. And bullying was a fact of life. Many of us kids talked about those who were different. Did they all commit suicide or mass murder? IDK, maybe it just wasn’t publicized as much. But life was different. What was “hard” then, is not so now. Kids have new problems, especially with social media available. With each generation, I would hope we, as a HUMAN race, will get better, kinder, stronger, and more accepting of one another!
